I've had a garden for years and every year I find myself arranging and rearranging, adding new plants and moving plants.  Now that I'm getting a little older, alittle older mine you, I would like to do less work in my gardens and just maintain and admire them....

One of the many flowers I grow are the bearded irises.  Lately I have grown quite fond of them and I've been adding more new colors.

This bearded iris is what I like to call a rusty red color.  Unusal color for a flower, but looks beautiful.

The textures I used to create this photo are from a new collection.  When I'm adding textures to my photos and the combination works, I know it.  That's when I say that's it!  But this time was a little different.  When I saw the combination on this photo it brought a tear to my eye.  To me it is so beautiful and I created it!  I did it!  It's my work!

Then it was just a matter of tweeking it and finishing up the details.  I then print it to make sure it's the same as my computer moniter.  Though I try to keep the moniter and printer on the same page if you will, sometimes they just don't click, because the bottom line is the printed image.  After the print then save and add it to my flower folder.  Then it's on to the next...

Speaking of the next, next time watch out for what eats tires.......
